The national standard GB50222-95 "Code for Fire Protection of Building Interior Decoration Design" stipulates that building decoration materials are divided into four grades according to their combustion characteristics: Class A non-combustibility; Class B1 non-flammability; Class B2 flammability; Class B3 flammability. Therefore, only fabrics with grades A and B1 can be called flame-retardant fabrics. In addition to non-textile fabrics that can achieve A-level flame retardant, the highest level of flame-retardant fabrics is B1.

There are three main indicators of the B1 level standard:

1. Oxygen index: ≥32.0%;

2. Vertical combustion performance: burning time≤30S, burning height≤250mm;

3. Smoke density grade: ≤75SDR
